Sarah attended the Veterinary Technology program at Pierce College graduating in 2005. She joined our hospital in 2000, as a kennel assistant. She worked her way to be a Veterinary Assistant and then went on to college to get her license as a Veterinary Technician. Sarah’s love and care have been instrumental in the success of our hospital and the training of our medical staff.
Sarah had an experience of a lifetime when she participated in our Lakefield World Vets project, traveling to Ecuador in 2018. Sarah’s husband traveled with her and participated with World Vets.
Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and her two very active boys. They love camping, 4-wheeling, and just about anything outdoors. Their little farm is growing adding chickens and turkeys. They have three Irish Wolfhounds (Yukon, Madigan and Ronan) along with Penny the Border Collie, and two cats (Lucario and Pancham).

Sara is a 2002 graduate from the Veterinary Technician program in Minnesota. She worked at the University of Minnesota for two years. Sara had the opportunity to work at a hospital in Virginia that was home for two goats, four sheep, and a donkey! After spending time in Colorado working for a small animal practice, she discovered her love for working with dogs and cats through their life stages. She worked with wildlife in Washington, but the small animals kept calling her back. She joined our hospital in 2017 and has never looked back. Her love and compassion are an integral part of our hospital.
Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. The kid’s variety of activities keep them both very busy. Sara has an English Setter named April.
